Our house hunt began without us knowing if we even wanted to move. We were looking at the pros and cons of adding on to our existing home (which we loved) or buying a bigger house. Dana DeLeo came highly recommended from a family member. Knowing our situation, he came to our house for a sit down. He looked at the pros and cons with us without applying any pressure. In fact, he asked “Have you thought of…” in regard to finding more space in our home on several occasions. He knew we didn’t really want to move and was happy to brainstorm a way for us to stay. Ultimately, the construction estimates were the deciding factor. Dana helped us get our house on the market, while holding our hands. He wouldn’t let us make any final decisions if one of us seemed unsure. When we found a house in our price range that we thought would work, he didn’t jump on the chance for a quick commission. He pointed out potential problems and explained why he thought the house was over priced. He helped us determine an offer and all of the contingencies that went with it. Dana was in constant contact with the other agents, so we were on top of everything. The added stress of needing to close on both properties, on the same day, was made easier with all of the top notch professionals that he coordinated on our behalf.
