I had the pleasure of attending a very important event this past Saturday.  I serve on the board of directors of the Voluntary Action Center of NEPA, and we held our annual Kentucky Derby fundraiser.  The weather was beautiful!  Hundreds of caring and community minded individuals attended, raising thousands of dollars for this important organization and its programs.  Interested in learning more? Lots of activity – Commercial real estate in NEPA

While getting ready this morning to head out into the world my wife and I were chatting about winter in NEPA.  Yes there is another snow storm on its way…and yes it is still very cold, very unseasonably cold.  However I do have to say that this was the fastest January, February, and March that I can recall.  Time flew, and it is due in part to brisk commercial real estate activity.  Interested in learning more? Is it cold enough for you? – Commercial real estate in NEPA

Wow, it is cold out there!  Let’s face it, winter weather in northeastern Pennsylvania can be brutal.  Cold temperatures and sporadic snow fall lead to very interesting days.  I am delighted to see that the patter of weather that we are in has not slowed down commercial real estate.  Sales and leasing, as well as listing activity is growing.  Interested in learning more? The holidays are almost here! – Commercial real estate in NEPA

Ready or not, here they come!  The holidays are here (almost), and I am delighted to see that the commercial real estate market continues to remain robust during the holidays.  Traditionally, real estate slows down during the holidays for a great many firms.  Interested in learning more? Is the trend for real?

The Scranton Times ran a story this morning on the local real estate market.  The data provided to The Scranton Times via the Greater Scranton Board of Realtors suggests that the local real estate market is leveling off.  We are optimistic that the scales of supply and demand are rebalancing themselves and that a strong turnaround is on the way.  Anecdotally I can support the article and board data, and I’d like to share with you my experiences.  Interested in learning more? Fall is underway! – Commercial real estate in NEPA

It finally feels like fall is here.  The temperatures have dipped in the evenings.  Daytime temperatures are also down.  Football is in full swing, and sooner or later the leaves will fall.  One trend that I have noticed this fall in commercial real estate in NEPA is there continues to be a great deal of leasing activity.  Building and land sales are also increasing, but it seems as though business owners are making relocation or growth decisions and need space.  Let’s hope this trend continues.  Interested in learning more? Testing the waters? – Commercial real estate in NEPA

One question that I get regularly revolves around the state-of-the-commercial-real-estate market.  I welcome the opportunity to talk to individuals who call or email me, testing the waters with their relocation or new business real estate needs.  At this point in time I am seeing a surge in individuals who need to lease space.  Their intention is to purchase, but maybe they do not have enough capital on hand to buy, so they opt for a one year or perhaps a three year lease.  I see this activity as a clear sign that business owners have decided to move forward and leave behind a flat economy.  Interested in learning more? Back to school? Commercial Real Estate in Northeastern PA

You’d have to be living in a cave to not be aware that retailers are pushing back-to-school sales.  Many may report that this is their second-to-best season all year.  Those in the retail trade may be poised to see growth in the near future, but it doesn’t stop there.  All kinds of businesses are in a growth mode, and are looking to expand their operations via relocation.  There are also start-up businesses that are in the market for space as well.  In the next few months, we see this trend continuing, and we are proud to be assisting them with their search for commercial real estate in NEPA.  Interested in learning more?
