Travelling – Real Estate

My family and I had the chance to do a bit of traveling this past weekend into the New England area. We observed variations along the way. First, we noticed that there is a high inventory of property available wherever we went. Next, we noticed that gas prices were very high. We also noticed that there were not a lot of people…anywhere! This truly creates great opportunities for buyers. Much can be said about the availability (and conditions) in our community as well. Gas prices are creeping higher, spending levels are still low, but there are some terrific real estate opportunities in our community.  Interested in learning more? “Is it hot enough for ya?” – Commercial Real Estate in NEPA

“Is it hot enough for ya?” I bet you’ve heard someone from our community utter these words while wiping the sweat off their brow. The heat wave across northeastern Pennsylvania has not slowed commercial real estate in our community. Actually, the rise in temperatures has coincided with an increase in commercial real estate activity with our firm. We are welcoming new sellers and lessors regularly, and we are pleased to be serving them. If you are interested in learning more please contact Scott J. Weiland at 570.561.7187. Thank you!

Summer is here and commercial real estate in greater Scranton is hot!

On a day-to-day basis we’ll get plenty of calls, emails, Facebook postings, direct messages in Twitter, and more regarding what is the hot item right now in commercial real estate.  We’ve seen leasing activity get red hot.  Commercial building sales are also a blaze.  We are also delighted to see that land sale activity is also catching fire.  It appears as though developers are starting to take a look at their portfolios and seek new opportunities.  We are glad that we can meet these needs, and our inventory of listings is growing as well.  If you are interested in learning more please contact Scott J. Weiland at 570.561.7187. Thank you!

A busy Spring season in Commercial Real Estate.

It is hard to believe that Spring is on its way out and the Summer Solstice is this Wednesday, June 20.   Time sure does fly when you are having fun!  Our commercial team was very busy this season.  We are working with many new and familiar faces on a variety of projects. Sales activity is growing, and leasing activity is still very strong.  From where I sit, the level of activity is sure to continue into the Summer months ahead.  I will be sure to wear lots of sunblock. If you are interested in learning more please contact Scott J. Weiland at 570.561.7187. Thank you!

We’re up on the social media trends!

From time to time a client asks me why social media is so important to our firm’s marketing efforts.  I enjoy answering these important questions.  First and foremost, social media helps people to “get to know us” as well as learn about our offerings.  Various social media tools create forums for us to communicate with the world and share what makes our firm and team unique.  Our team is top notch and focused on excellent customer service, and our agents actively share their experiences via social media, and in turn we develop stronger relationships with clients and customers.  Log on to any of the main social media tools (including this blog 😉 and search for the Realty Network Group.  If you are looking for me, I can be found at facebook.com/ScottJWeiland, twitter.com/DrScottWeiland, and linkedin.com/in/scottjweiland.  Thank you!  Scott

Quick jump in commercial real estate listings.

Over the past few days we’ve seen a nice uptick in commercial real estate listings (click here for more details).  This increase is a clear sign that our community is clawing its way out of the clutches of the recession and moving forward toward increased prosperity.  We’re not out of the woods yet, but we are inching our way closer.  We are optimistic that this trend is going to continue, and we’d like to make sure that business owners who are looking to buy, sell, or lease are served well.  Please give us a call today at 570.207.4747.  Thank you!

Let’s get the economy moving along!

The real estate market, as is so many others, is dependent upon activity from buyers and sellers.  Data that is being collected by our firm is revealing that listing and closing activity is growing…and growing…and growing!  We are thrilled to see an increase in activity.  It is clear that business owners are beginning to make relocation decisions, and they are turning to the Realty Network Commercial Group to help.  If you or a colleague are in “business growth mode” please give us a call at 570.207.4747.  Thank you!  Scott

Welcome back Spring!

On the heels of a busy open house weekend, Spring has re-sprung here in northeastern Pennsylvania!  Although the much needed rain helped keep our lawns green it is nice to see temperatures increasing under the warm sun.  We’re pleased to see a nice increase in commercial listing activity, and sellers are noting that our marketing efforts are informing them about our offerings.  We encourage lessors and sellers to give our commercial team a call at 570.207.4747 to discuss how we can help sell or lease your property.  Thanks!  Scott J.
